Talks » Journal Club
Journal club is a weekly discussion of a recent scientific paper or the latest departmental cumelative exam (a part of the admission to candidacy process), maintained by and for the Astronomy Department graduate students. It is currently held on Friday afternoons, at 1:30pm in the Astronomy Conference Room (ASTR 119).
Topics are announced early in the week, by the lead presenter for that week.
